good sleeve for MacBook Pro,
I am starting to travel more, and my new MacBook Pro 13 is a better size for me to lug around than my older mac 15 laptop. With that being said it isn’t as snug in my old Timbuk2 messenger bag which has been a great bag for my old 15″ Mac. The sleeve helps me travel leaner since I can safely put this in my travel bags, or backpack without having to carry a separate bag just for my computer. If I needed to, however, the MacBook Pro in the sleeve fits well inside my timbuk2 messenger bag.
About the Sleeve: I had a gift credit so I thought I’d splurge and spend a little more on the microfiber sleeve. Normally I would be looking for a cheaper item, but I am glad I spent the extra money. This fits the laptop perfectly, looks good, and it is comfortable to carry due to the soft microfiber. I have all the confidence in the world that my computer will be protected given the adequate padding, soft inside material, the inside lip that secures the computer and acts as a barrier protecting the computer from the zipper. Not sure how it may be from extreme exposure to water, but initial drops of rain will roll right off the microfiber. Only gripe might be the price, but this appears to be something that will last as it is made well and it will do it’s job of protecting the computer. In the end it will be worth it in my opinion.

If you’re looking for a laptop case for your Macbook 13 inch, Tucano Second Skin Microfiber Case is a very good option.
It is designed in Italy and made in Taiwan. The craftsmanship is excellent. Every seam is tight, you do not even see the teeth of the zippers. The microfiber makes the case comfortable to carry. There’s enough linen padding inside to protect the computer from light knocks.
To prevent the laptop from slipping out, there’s a elastic cover inside to hold it in place. There’s also a small protection blanket to cover the keyboard.
The case fits the Macbook 13 inch perfectly, is light and looks durable enough. Although it says it’s made for specifically for the Macbook, it should fit other laptops with the same dimensions as well.
It comes in three colours (grey, yellow and red) and in two sizes, 13 inch and 15 inch.

Given the tons of sleeves out there, this has to be one of my favorite.
THE MOST important part of the sleeve for me has to be the zippers. There are many sleeves that has the potential to scratch the surface of your laptop. But the tucano sleeve has an inner lining that only comes in contact with your laptop when inserting or taking it out.
Might be a horrible analogy but entertain me for a second.
Say your mouth is a laptop sleeve.
Your teeth are the zippers.
Now would you trust to put your laptop in and out of your mouth? No way right?
How about if your teeth are inverted in a way that the laptop can only make contact with your comfortable gums and has no chance to have any contact with your teeth.
The inside ‘flap’ to keep the laptop from moving around is a good idea, but not entirely needed.
Other than that, this fits my 2010 13″ mbp perfectly.
+ points for stylishness also
